Support in your home, tailored to your individuals needs
I know that many people wish to stay in their own homes as they get older, but often need some extra support to do so comfortably. Having some company, and support with day to day activities can make a big difference to a person’s independence, confidence and sense of well-being.
‘Cadira Care’ was founded with this in mind. I am passionate about giving you the support that you want and need, while respecting you and your home. My service is tailored to each individual’s situation, needs and wishes.
Services
Companionship
Loneliness and isolation can have many negative impacts. I can provide social contact and companionship to help you feel more connected and fulfilled. This could be in the form of a daily ‘check in’ or a few hours each week. We could sit and have a cuppa and a catch up, play a board game or bake a cake-it’s up to you.
Day-to-day
It may be tricky to keep on top of domestic tasks if you are elderly or living with a disability. A clean and tidy home is an important factor in maintaining your well-being. I can provide assistance with all household tasks. I can either do these on your behalf or support you to complete them yourself. I can also support you with pet care, light gardening, shopping, meal preparation, paying bills and administration tasks.
Carer Support
Caring for a loved one can be demanding and challenging at times. It is important to make time to look after yourself to enable you to cope better with your caring role. I provide a sitting service to enable you to have a few hours to yourself while feeling confident that your loved one is being well cared for.
Individual Needs
The above includes some of the available services but is by no means exhaustive. If there is anything else that you would like me to support you with, please contact me so that we can discuss it. My time with you will be centred around your needs and wishes. The minimum visit time is one hour to ensure that there is no pressure of time.
